Tulsa, OK (April 11, 2024) – A crash on Monday evening involving a white Hyundai sedan and a Tulsa fire truck took two lives. A woman and a girl were killed in the accident that happened at around 5:30 p.m. on 41st Street near New Haven Avenue. Reports show the fire truck was responding to a structure fire while headed west on 41st Street with its lights and sirens on when the collision occurred. The Hyundai and the firetruck collided at the intersection, causing the car to go off of the road, roll, and come to rest on a utility pole. The firefighters inside the truck sustained no injuries and immediately started life-saving measures on the occupants of the vehicle. A 5-year-old girl and 23-year-old female passenger were taken to an area hospital where they were pronounced deceased. 

Police in Tulsa continue to investigate. We want to offer our sincere condolences to the family or families of the deceased victims at this time.
