Oklahoma Motorcycle Crashes
Motorcyclists are some of the most vulnerable travelers on the roadways in America at any given time. Often, they face severe or even fatal injuries when they become involved in traffic collisions. This is mostly due to their very limited protection against heavy and fast-moving vehicles. Averagely speaking, approximately 6,000 motorcyclists are killed yearly in auto collisions throughout the country. Most of these wrecks happen because drivers act negligently while behind the wheel.
Driver negligence has become a serious problem in the US, specifically in the past decade. Drivers who become over-tired, intoxicated, or distracted or who travel at unsafe speeds often cause wrecks that frequently result in injuries and fatalities. Over 50% of reported motorcycle collisions are caused by the actions of distracted drivers.
If you or someone you love has recently been hurt in a traffic collision that was caused by the actions of a negligent driver, you should be able to recover without having to worry about money. You should not have to bear the burden of medical care costs related to your injuries, which is why seeking help from a motorcycle crash attorney in Tulsa is highly recommended. A lawyer can help you file a personal injury claim for financial compensation so you can collect the money you need to pay for lost wages, vehicle repairs, and more.
