Tragic Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-40 Claims Life of Oklahoma City Motorcyclist
A fatal crash on I-40 near Western Ave claimed the life of a motorcyclist on Wednesday afternoon, March 18. Thirty-year-old Jeffery Morrison was riding his motorcycle when a Toyota struck him from behind. Morrison was thrown under the vehicle during the impact.
The Toyota’s driver lost control and collided with a westbound Freightliner. Both Morrison and the Toyota driver ended up on the inside shoulder of I-40, while the Freightliner came to a controlled stop on the outside shoulder. The driver of the Toyota suffered injuries in the crash.
