Tragic Creek County Rollover Crash Claims Life of 17-Year-Old Passenger
A devastating single-vehicle rollover crash early Friday morning has left a local family grieving and two others injured. The incident occurred around 2:00 a.m. on June 26 near the intersection of South 401st West Avenue and West 181st Street South in Creek County.
According to official reports, the vehicle was traveling southbound on South 401st West Avenue when it crossed over the center line. The driver attempted to correct, causing the vehicle to leave the roadway, cross back over, and leave the pavement a second time. The vehicle then rolled over, struck a fence, and came to a rest upside down in the middle of the road.
Tragically, a 17-year-old passenger from Bristow sustained fatal injuries and passed away at the scene. The driver and a second passenger were also injured and transported for medical treatment.
