Shawnee, OK (March 12, 2024) – A woman from Prague, identified as Diana Srade, age 78, lost her life in an accident that occurred on March 5. Responders went to the scene at approximately 12:30 p.m. after receiving reports concerning the incident. It happened on United States Route 177 near Interstate 40 when Srader was operating a Chevy Equinox east on the interstate. The Equinox was involved in a crash with a southbound GMC pickup truck, police said. Srader had to be extricated from her vehicle after being trapped inside of it for approximately 15 minutes. The 78-year-old woman was transpired to OU Medical Center where she later lost her life due to internal injuries. The other involved driver was also taken to OU in stable condition.
