Pauls Valley, OK (October 6, 2024) – Shortly before 10:00 p.m., on October 4, a traffic accident involving two vehicles happened on Highway US 77 that took the lives of two people and left others injured.
William Miranda, 29, was headed south on the highway when he veered left over the center line and hit a northbound driver identified as Christopher Pierri, 39. Pierri was pinned for some time before being extracted by the Pauls Valley Fire Department. A 15-year-old female was also pronounced deceased on-site by responding medical professionals. A 14-year-old girl who was inside Pierri’s vehicle at the time suffered serious internal injuries as well as injuries to one of her legs. She was taken to the hospital by Mercy EMS for treatment. Another 14-year-old girl suffered minor injuries in the accident, according to reports.
