Oleta, OK (August 16, 2024) – On Thursday, August 15, there were fatal injuries after a motorcycle accident in the Oleta area. The deadly crash occurred on OK-147 as two people were traveling northbound on a motorcycle. It was revealed that 70-year-old Jerry Martin was operating the bike when he hit a deer after it entered the roadway.
The impact caused the motorcycle to crash. Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. The bike’s passenger, 72-year-old Gay Martin, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
