Oklahoma City, OK (June 19, 2024) – Two people lost their lives in an accident that happened in southwest Oklahoma City on Tuesday morning, June 18. Local news sources report that the incident occurred on Interstate 44 near Southwest 29th at around 1:00 a.m. A vehicle left the road and struck a pole, according to reports. It rolled several times before it stopped, police said. According to information from reports, the driver lost their life at the crash scene. The passenger was freed from the vehicle by a witness, however; the female passenger was then struck by several cars at the scene. What caused the accident to occur has not been reported at this time. Police in Oklahoma City continue to investigate.
