Oklahoma City, OK (June 27, 2024) – One person lost their life after they were struck by a vehicle on Thursday morning, June 27. At around 4:30 a.m., the wreck occurred along South Western Avenue near Southwest 44th Street. The victim was seen on the ground near a bus stop by a bystander who then called the police. Officers who were at the scene reported that the wreck was possibly a hit-and-run as no vehicle was seen at the crash site. The victim has not been identified at this time. Currently, police continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
