Oklahoma Motorcycle Crashes
Motorcyclists are some of the most vulnerable travelers on the road at any given time. They often sustain serious or even fatal injuries when they become involved in accidents due to traveling with little to no protection against the force of fast-moving, heavy vehicles. On average, in the United States, nearly 6,000 motorcyclists end up losing their lives in traffic collisions each year. Sadly, the majority of these crashes happen due to the actions of negligent drivers.
Negligent driving has become a problematic issue in the United States, especially in the past decade. Drivers who operate their vehicles while distracted, fatigued, intoxicated, or at unsafe speeds often cause accidents that end in injuries and fatalities. Over half of motorcycle accidents are caused by drivers who do not see motorcyclists due to distraction.
