Oklahoma Car Wrecks
Every year, millions of car accidents occur across the United States, with around six million crashes reported annually. Sadly, these accidents result in approximately three million injuries and claim the lives of 40,000 people each year. In Oklahoma alone, tens of thousands of accidents take place annually, leaving thousands injured and hundreds more tragically losing their lives. In one recent year, the state saw over 70,000 traffic collisions. Additionally, nearly 20% of traffic accidents in the United States involve pedestrians. Tragically, about 6,000 pedestrians are killed each year in these accidents. With no protection, pedestrians often suffer severe injuries or even lose their lives when accidents occur. Unfortunately, more than half of these pedestrian crashes are caused by negligent drivers.
If you or a loved one has been injured in an accident, it’s crucial to understand how the collision happened, especially if someone else’s actions were to blame. Negligent drivers are responsible for millions of crashes every year. In fact, over 90% of reported car accidents in America are caused by driver negligence, with common factors including fatigue, speeding, distraction, and intoxication. Pedestrians are among the most vulnerable individuals on our roads. When involved in traffic accidents, they frequently endure severe or even fatal injuries.
