Oklahoma City, OK (June 17, 2024) – A car crash happened in Oklahoma City on June 17. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene shortly after it happened on Interstate 44 near Northwest 23rd Street. Eastbound I-44 was closed while crews worked in the area. Reports show a truck was headed south on the interstate when a front tire blew and sent it over the center barrier into the northbound lanes of traffic. Paramedics helped injured victims and transported them to the hospital if needed. At this time, the cause of the accident has not been reported. Police in Oklahoma City continue to investigate.
