Mead, OK (July 3, 2024) – A man lost his life in a tragic auto accident in Mead on Sunday evening, June 30. Reports show that 55-year-old Stephan Severini was attempting to help a crying baby involved in another traffic accident when he was killed. Reports from the victim’s family reveal that he and his wife pulled up next to a vehicle that had been involved in a crash to check if the occupants were okay. Upon exiting his vehicle, Severini went to cross Highway 70 when he was struck by a truck. He died at the scene. The crash occurred near Streetman Road, sources said. The driver of the truck was arrested on charges including second-degree homicide and DUI.
