Heartbreaking Double Fatality Reported in LeFlore County Intersection Crash
The community of Poteau is mourning the loss of two young men following a devastating collision in LeFlore County this past Saturday. According to reports from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the accident claimed the lives of 21-year-old Jace Goff and his passenger, 22-year-old Florentino Ramirez.
The incident occurred on May 9 at the intersection of 360th Street and Morgan Hill Road. Investigators state that Goff was traveling eastbound when his vehicle reportedly failed to stop at a stop sign, leading to a collision with another vehicle within the intersection. Despite wearing seatbelts, both young men tragically sustained fatal injuries. The driver of the second vehicle was also injured and transported for treatment; their current condition remains undisclosed.
