Garvin County, OK (October 5, 2024) – Two people lost their lives and three others suffered injuries in an auto accident that occurred on US 77 near County Road 1550.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports the wreck occurred just before 10:00 p.m. when a southbound vehicle was involved in a head-on crash with another car. The other vehicle was occupied by four individuals, including Christopher Pierri, 39, and a 15-year-old passenger who both lost their lives at the scene. Two other teenage females were sent to the hospital with injuries. The driver of the other vehicle, who was also the sole occupant, was stuck inside his vehicle for approximately 30 minutes before being rescued and transported to the hospital in critical condition. Police in Garvin continue to investigate the details of the accident.
