Eufaula, OK (September 29, 2024) – A collision involving four motorcycles and one sedan caused the death of one person on Saturday, September 28. According to reports, the incident occurred on Route 9 near S 4180 Road just south of Eufaula shortly after 7:00 p.m. A man identified as 34-year-old James Harp was taken by Survival Flight to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased. A passenger who was riding with Harp, Brinna Barnes, 26, was admitted to a hospital in Tulsa with injuries to her trunk and leg. Another motorcyclist identified as Mitchell Anglet, 40, was admitted with leg, trunk, and head injuries. A passenger of another motorcyclist, Taylor Patrick, 28, was taken to an area hospital with trunk injuries, while the driver, Daniel Patrick, 36, refused medical care. The operator of the affected vehicle, Beverly Monks, 68, sustained no injuries. Police in Eufaula continue to investigate the details of the crash.
