Edmond, OK (September 11, 2024) – Police say two teens lost their lives after a car crashed into a tree on Sunday, September 8, in Edmond. Police report a vehicle collided with a tree and a fence at approximately 8:00 p.m. on Northwest 178th Street near Rockwell Avenue. Four individuals were inside the car at the time of the accident, sources said. Sadly, an 18-year-old driver as well as a 16-year-old passenger lost their lives in the wreck. One person was reportedly in critical condition and the fourth passenger was said to be OK after the crash. Police in Edmond continues to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
