Crews Respond to Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-35, Including Semis

A series of crashes involving numerous semi-trailers has created a significant traffic congestion problem on I-35 in Moore. The accidents occurred between Southeast 89th Street and Northeast 12th Street.  The Oklahoma Department of Transportation has announced the reopening of all southbound lanes of I-35 at Shield Boulevard.  However, drivers are advised to proceed with caution in the area as road conditions remain slick.  According to Sky 5 Pilot Chase Rutledge, at least four semi-trailers were involved, with two jackknifing on the highway.  Two other vehicles also sustained substantial damage in the crashes.
