Collinsville, OK (August 22, 2024) – A 16-year-old boy lost his life after a traffic accident in Collinsville on Saturday night, August 17. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports that the wreck occurred on East 136th Street North near the intersection with North Sheridan Road. The teenager was headed west when he was involved in a collision with a northbound vehicle. The young boy was pronounced deceased on-site by medical professionals. Two individuals who were in the second vehicle were pinned for approximately 20 minutes before firefighters extricated them from their car. They were transported to an area medical center in critical condition. Two other passengers, an 11-year-old and a 1-year-old, were transported to the hospital with minor injuries. Police in Collinsville continue to investigate.
