Canadian Co., OK (July 9, 2024) – Police say a 5-year-old girl lost her life in a single-vehicle accident on Sunday, July 7. At around 8:05 a.m., the accident occurred on Interstate 40 near mile marker 110. Reports show that a 2003 Toyota Tacoma was involved in the accident. The young girl was transported to a hospital in El Reno, where police said she was pronounced deceased. At this time, her identity has not been reported. Two other people, a 5-month-old girl and a 29-year-old woman, were also transported to a hospital, where they were treated and released. The driver and a passenger, age 17, sustained no injuries in the crash.
