Oklahoma Truck Accidents

Beckham Co., OK - Bailing Sun Killed in Wreck on OK-152 near Elk CityEvery year, there are approximately 500,000 traffic accidents involving commercial vehicles across the country. Just last year, there were 523,796 crashes involving heavy trucks—a 20% rise from the yearly average. These large truck wrecks often lead to severe injuries or even deaths. Because semi-trucks are 20 to 30 times heavier and larger than regular cars, the impact of a collision is particularly dangerous.

Sadly, the majority of these wrecks are caused by truck drivers who are over-tired, intoxicated, or simply careless in the operation of their vehicles. Due to the long hours and tight deadlines set by their employers, semi-truck drivers often find themselves driving recklessly and causing severe or even fatal collisions.
