Barnsdall, OK (April 5, 2024) – A teen lost their life following a collision that occurred in Osage County on Saturday. At approximately 6:00 p.m., on April 4, the incident occurred on County Road 2409 when an Acura MDX was involved in a collision. Four people were inside the car at the time including two teenagers, according to crash reports from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. A 15-year-old boy lost his life at the scene. At this time, his identity has not been reported. A 16-year-old girl was taken by life flight to St Francis Hospital in critical condition. The driver, a man, age 36, was also taken by life-flight to St. Francis in serious condition. A 21-year-old man was also transported to a local medical center where he was treated and released.
Police in Barnsdall continue to investigate. We want to offer our sincere condolences to the family of the deceased victim. We hope for the full recovery of the injured victims.
