Adair County, OK (June 24, 2024) – A single-car crash occurred on the afternoon of June 20 in Adair County. Responders, including EMTs and police officers, were dispatched to the scene at around 1:10 p.m. It occurred on Highway 51 just west of South 4673 Road. The six-year-old was one of four other children inside the vehicle at the time of the crash. The driver, a 28-year-old, was ejected and severely injured. They were taken to the hospital in critical condition. A 2-year-old, a 7-year-old, and a 12-year-old suffered minor injuries in the accident. The six-year-old was determined deceased at the crash scene. The cause of the wreck is still under investigation.
